Taking Action – How to Access

Taking Action can be easily accessed via your web browser and is not limited to any specific browser. If you experience any unusual messages that prevent you from accessing the guide, please contact your IT group for support. Please feel free to email membership@bta-on.ca with any questions or comments.

 

Step 1: How to Sign In

Navigate to http://www.businesstakesaction.ca within your web browser’s address or location box.

At the home page, sign in with your member login email address and password. If you haven’t registered your membership account you can proceed to Create Account.

Step 2: Navigating to the Taking Action guide

Once logged in, left-click on Employer Tools and then left-click on BTA HR Guide.

 

Step 3: Launching Taking Action within iPal’s Learning Management System

Taking Action will launch iPal’s Learning Management System (LMS) within the same window. If you unintentionally exit the LMS, you will need to go back to Step 1.

As a learner, you can choose from twelve modules within the guide. If you are not interested in the interactive portion of Taking Action, feel free to download the course documentation in module 12.

When you left-click on a training module, the interactive course will launch in a new window.

 

Step 4: Becoming familiar with the help tools

In order to maximize your learning experience, please click on the picture of a question mark that reflects a help button for Taking ActionHelp Button to launch the tools.

You can left-click on thepicture of an exit button for Taking Action to return to the module. You can also log out of the LMS and return to BTA's website.
