Business Takes Action is delighted to announce and offer another Innovation Award for the fourth year in a row to recognize an outstanding local business champion who creates and embraces a diverse and inclusive workforce by hiring people with disabilities.
Business Takes Action Innovation Award is dedicated to recognizing the very best employer in Ontario who creates and embraces a diverse and inclusive workforce. The recipient has developed innovative policy, processes and practices in the areas of accessibility, accommodation and awareness for employees, job seekers, suppliers and customers.
THE CALL FOR NOMINATIONS DEADLINE IS NOW OPEN
You are invited to nominate an outstanding Employer who has embraced the inclusion of employees with disabilities. The winner will be announced at the Innovation Awards Ceremony being held at the Mississauga Grand Banquet and Convention Centre, March 26, 2012. Travel and accommodation will be provided for the recipient.
Requirements for Nominations
- Nominees must have physical presence in Ontario. Employers regulated by the Federal Contractors Program are not eligible for nomination.
- Download and complete the following APPLICATION FORM.

- Nominations will be accepted up until Thursday, March 8, 2012.
